Lewa Safari Camp Marathon Team - The Results!
At last we have received the official timings for the Lewa Safari Camp team, and we are extremely proud of each and every runner...The overall winner of the Lewa half marathon crossed the line in an amazing 1.05:43. First to cross the line for Lewa Safari Camp was Joseph Mutua, at a brilliant 1.25:28! A natural runner, Joseph has set his sights on the top spot for next year!
Here are our winners in descending order, and we would also like to point out that Murray (the camp manager) finished 5th out of 30 runners in the 'Over 50s' category, and is rightly proud of his place!
So our runners and their finishing places overall......

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for supporting our team, without which our involvement with the Lewa Marathon would just not have been possible. Together we have raised an amazing Kshs 173,819.00/- for the continuing great work of the conservancy.
Our team would also like to pass on their appreciation of your support, and a personal thank you to one donor who also pledged money for the team's running shoes. For most of them it was their first opportunity to race and play their part in the continuing success of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
We look forward to entering another team next year.....
