- The swimming pool at the Safari Camp is a salt "water
pool".
- Instead of filling it with the usual chemicals, we use
salt and electrolyses.
- A 9 volt electric current passed between six plates turns
the salt to chlorine, thus no more red eyes, dried skin or
green hair.
- Apart from the benefits to swimmers, when the filter
is back-washed the waste water goes directly into the ground,
forming a small salt
lick for the various small animals that frequent the camp
during the night.

After a fruitful early morning game
drive, back to camp for a hearty breakfast of fruit, cereals,
eggs of your choice.
Made in situ while you fend off the various Superb Starlings
and weaver birds bent on
eating your meal before you have a chance to enjoy it yourself!
