- The Safari Camp is a blend of the and the new. The camp
is focused around the the main building, which was the initial
"Ngare Serigoi" rhino sanctuary head-quarters.
- Once the head-quarters was moved to the center of Lewa
the building was left dormant.
- Due to it's history
it would have been a shame to demolish the structure so
why not
utilize it? It was then turned into the restaurant and bar
for the new tourist venture.

Tourism, it was realized was a vital
source of unrestricted funding for the conservancy as a whole.
From these humble beginnings, over the next ten years the
camp has been modernized to cater for almost all of your needs.
Customized tents, hot cold running water, flush toilets,
high pressure showers
comfy beds.
Special attention is paid to the grounds. Supporting a mixture
of indigenous and local flora complimenting the local bird
and wildlife, making it pleasing to the eye in an otherwise
extremely harsh and arid environment.
